Representative Ozinga Inaugurated as State Representative for 2nd Term

On Wednesday, January 11th, Representative Tim Ozinga was inaugurated for his second term in the Illinois General Assembly. Ozinga will continue to represent House District 37, which includes the communities of Mokena, Homer Glen, and New Lenox.

“I am committed to defending the people of Illinois whose voices are too often ignored by the insiders of the Chicago-Springfield political class,” Ozinga stated. “Illinois is facing significant challenges such as businesses leaving the state, a declining population, and debilitating corruption. These issues will only continue to negatively impact the people, businesses, and communities that call Illinois home.”

“Since being elected, I have demonstrated a commitment to promoting fiscal responsibility and a pro-growth business environment, while also demanding increased government transparency and defending parental rights. I look forward to continuing my record of fair, balanced, and responsive representation in the new 103rd General Assembly.”
