December Local Business Highlight

For my December 2023 local business highlight, I chose to highlight Shark Shredding & Document Management Services, Inc. in Mokena because of their excellent customer service and dedication to our local community.

This holiday season, they participated in the Frankfort Township Food Pantry toy drive. They also hosted a drop off location with the Mokena VFW to ensure all children were able to receive toys this holiday season.

Shark Shredding was founded in 2005 by Brian Ciapinski and Jeffrey Dencek. They offer Business and Residential Shredding services, Hard Drive and Media Destruction, and more.

National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month

Human trafficking and slavery are billion dollar industries that currently trap nearly 27 million people worldwide. This month let us remember how prevalent this issue is, even in our own communities, and dedicate ourselves to raising awareness and preventing these terrible crimes.
