State Representative Tim Ozinga (R-Mokena) is hosting a Valentines for Vets drive to collect and distribute Valentine’s Day cards to local veterans.
“I truly don’t think there’s a way we can ever repay the incredible servicemen and women who have sacrificed so much to keep this country safe and free,” said Rep. Ozinga. “But, the least we can do is present them with a small token of appreciation from the community. If you can, please drop-off a Valentine’s Day card to my Mokena office to ensure we show a little love to these brave Americans.”
The cards, which will be collected until February 10th, can be dropped-off at Rep. Ozinga’s district office, located at 11019 Front St, Unit 1W in Mokena. The cards will then be delivered to 37th District veterans in time for Valentine’s Day.
