State Representative Tim Ozinga (R—Mokena) invites residents of the 37th Legislative House District to participate in a blood drive in partnership with the Versiti. The event is Thursday, October 27th from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Representative Ozinga’s office, 11019 Front Street in Mokena.
Blood drives are crucial to help local blood banks increase their supply to prevent a blood shortage. Representative Ozinga encourages his constituents to come out to donate and help bolster the state’s supply.
“Donating blood is a crucial but small step we can all take to help save lives. Supporting local blood banks can go a long way in preventing blood shortages, which has affected this state in the past,” Representative Ozinga said.
