State Rep. Tim Ozinga to Host Free Women’s Safety Seminar

State Representative Tim Ozinga (R – Mokena) and Joe Malone are hosting a free interactive de-escalation and self-defense seminar. The event will help attendees learn how to control fear in confrontation, establish a “safety line,” defuse strange behaviors, defend themselves, and more. The seminar is at the Lee F. Rosenquist Memorial Auditorium at Lincoln-Way Central High School on June 7th at 6:00 pm.

“As a father of four daughters, I would want to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to defend themselves. This course is not only a valuable resource for women of all ages in our community but will also provide useful information for men,” Rep. Ozinga stated.
