Rep. Ozinga Begins Programs to Benefit Veterans, Military Families

Mokena, IL – State Representative Tim Ozinga (R – Mokena) today announced the 37th District office is partnering with Cell Phones for Soldiers to become an official drop-off location.

“America’s soldiers and veterans have sacrificed so much for our nation and our freedoms. Often, they are separated from their families across the country or across the globe. We are partnering with Cell Phones for Soldiers, the 37th District can give back to our heroes by helping veterans and soldiers speak to their loved ones thousands of miles away.”

Rep. Ozinga is also giving away free 3’x5’ American flags to local veterans who want one.

“If veterans need an American Flag, our office is the place!” Cell Phones for Soldiers is a national non-profit charity dedicated to serving soldiers and veterans with free communications and emergency funding. Newer or gently-used cell phones and tablets from all wireless carriers are accepted and help provide free talk time.
